Are you a talented Employment Law professional with the ability to ‘turn the pinstripes up and down’?
Would you like to do quality work with blue chip companies and build great client relationships?
Vista is a niche employment law service with a very different offering to the traditional law firms or large employment consultancies. We act almost like an in-house employment law and ER service, providing commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice along with training and e-learning solutions. We are passionate about understanding the needs of our clients and work closely with them in order to provide a unique integrated service delivery model. We are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor who share this passion and is keen to work with organisations like Airbus, General Motors, Reckitt Benckiser, Emerson, Home Retail Group and CHEP.
This is an exciting time to join our talented team. Our investigations and training work is growing significantly and we continue to utilise new technology and media to add to the client experience.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals, who are excited by the prospect of a varied workload, taking a pragmatic approach, innovating and contributing to commercial projects and business development.
You will have solid experience of working with a professional client base, including HR Directors in large organisations, excellent knowledge of all areas of employment law and have a practical approach to resolving employee relations challenges together with a proven track record of employment tribunal representation. You will have the ability to balance competing priorities and time pressures. Investigations and training experience is desirable but not essential, more important is your willingness and ability to undertake complex investigations and deliver innovative and engaging training experiences. If you have experience of working with Trade Unions and TUPE transfers that would also be interesting to us.
We can offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, pension and benefits, along with a sensible attitude to flexibility. However, the role does involve regular travel to client premises and employment tribunals across the UK which will sometimes necessitate overnight stays. We were the first organisation in the UK to achieve the British Standard for Diversity & Inclusion and therefore treat all applications on their merits.
Please apply with your CV and a covering letter explaining your salary expectations, why you are interested in working for Vista and what attributes you would bring to the role.
