Are you a talented Employment Law professional with the ability to ‘turn the pinstripes up and down’?
Would you like to work three, four or five days a week but still do quality work with blue chip companies and build great client relationships?
Vista is a niche employment law service with a very different offering to the traditional law firms or large employment consultancies. We act almost like an in-house employment law and ER service, providing commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice along with training and e-learning solutions.
We are passionate about understanding the needs of our clients and work closely with them in order to provide a unique integrated service delivery model. We are looking for experienced Employment Lawyers who share this passion and are keen to work with organisations like Airbus, General Motors, Reckitt Benckiser, Emerson, Home Retail Group and CHEP.
This is an exciting time to join our talented team. Our breadth of work is growing significantly and we continue to utilise new technology and media to add to the client experience.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals, who are excited by the prospect of a varied workload, taking a pragmatic approach, innovating and contributing to commercial projects and business development.
With a minimum of 6 years PQE, you must have solid experience of working with a professional client base (in particular, senior HR professionals in large organisations), excellent knowledge of all areas of employment law, experienced in contentious and non contentious respondent work (with or without advocacy) and have a practical approach to resolving employee relations challenges. You will have the ability to balance competing priorities and time pressures with focus, professionalism and a sense of fun.
We’ll also expect you to be as interested in digital content as much as drafting written materials.
We can offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, pension and benefits, along with a sensible attitude to flexibility.
We were the first organisation in the UK to achieve the British Standard for Diversity & Inclusion and therefore treat all applications on their merits.
Please apply with your CV and a covering letter explaining your salary expectations, why you are interested in working for Vista and what attributes you would bring to the role. Please note that if you do not provide these your application will not be considered. If you’d like to provide a video application then we’d be happy to receive it – just make sure you cover everything that’s needed concisely!
