Challenge: People Management Training following a Line Management Restructure
Following a re-structure, Airbus wanted to invest in upskilling their line management teams, in line with new business expectations.

To enable this, Vista designed and delivered a two-day training programme focusing on managing conduct, performance and absence. We like to call it – Proactive People Management!
The course delivers a blend of digital and practical learning workshops, enabling managers to tackle the challenging issues of misconduct, underperformance and absence with confidence. Vista brought a practical and participative view of the legal framework and illustrated debates around six bespoke drama sequences, filmed at Airbus and in line with Airbus policies and procedures.

We’re proud to say that this program was a huge success, not just in improving line manager performance and skills, but also in engaging the senior leadership team and the trade unions. After the initial design and delivery of the course, Airbus now invest in ‘Proactive People Management’ as a priority. As such, we are fortunate enough to be a key part of the Airbus leadership programme, delivering training at all Airbus locations across the UK.
