Have you ever been to an employment tribunal?
Does the thought of defending a case before a Judge fill you with dread?
Back by popular demand, Vista’s mock employment tribunal allows delegates to experience all the thrills and spills of the tribunal, but in a learning environment.
Here’s a taste of the fun you can expect…
Who Should Attend?
Designed for HR professionals and line managers who may be dealing with a tribunal case, this event will:
- Help you to experience first-hand the employment tribunal process
- Understand the issues that could arise during a case
- Understand how a tribunal may deal with the issues
- Give you a detailed insight into how decisions are made and how actions taken by employees can very easily become key features of a tribunal hearing
Where’s it all happening?
This year Vista’s team of experienced tribunal advocates will be heading to Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London looking at a real-life case which deals with the issue of age discrimination.
The Fun Bit
On the day, you will meet our two main characters: Alex Potts – a humiliated employee who feels side-lined by her manager because of her age, and Chris Highwater – Alex’s new line manager who thinks that Alex has blown this way out of proportion and can’t see what her problem is.
As a delegate you will watch Chris and Alex give their evidence followed by cross-examination from the Vista team. During the session you will see a detailed insight into how decisions are made and how actions taken by employees can very easily become key features of a tribunal hearing.
The Judge will make the final decision based on the evidence given.
What will the outcome be?
