What Are Micro-Incivilities?

Micro-incivilities are behaviours that reveal negative bias, this bias undermines others and draws attention to differences. They are disrespectful and excluding, whether that was the intention or otherwise.

This video delves into a couple of examples that you might see in and around the workplace. In our dignity and respect training, we explore a number of different scenarios, how to recognise them and how to manage them effectively to promote an inclusive culture.

Join us in August and October for a free workshop Bias & Bad Manners: How to Call out Micro-Incivilities at Work which explores what micro-incivilities are, and their impact in the workplace and a new technique to give feedback and call out disrespectful behaviour.
